We are looking for enthusiastic social workers who wish to join us in collaborative, innovative curriculum delivery as part of a project which will run from July 2025 until June 2026.
This is an exciting developmental opportunity to share your skills and knowledge with social work students, contribute to the workforce and develop your professional portfolio.
Each Practice Consultant will be given a programme of work based on their skills, knowledge and expertise and the needs of the universities. The activities they undertake may also include supporting admissions and recruitment to courses and the development of students’ employability.
Practice Consultants commit up to 6 days to support curriculum delivery within their linked HEI. This time is protected by their employer, so it is essential that all Practice Consultants have permission from their line manager. please see the below documents to find full details.
You will need to complete the above Expression of Interest form, including a supporting statement evidencing how you meet the criteria (which can be found in the above "information for social workers" doc). The Expression of Interest form must be signed by your line manager and emailed to westmidlandsteachingpartnership@coventry.gov.uk . We can accept repeat applications, however they will still need to submit an updated EOI form with line manager agreement to continue for another year.
The deadline for expressions of interest is Friday the 9th of May 2025.
